Scandinavian Free Radio

This station started in late 1981 when three DX-ers decided to start a station.

In April 1982 the transmitter stood ready to work, but it did not! The 19th of June 1982 the first official broadcast was beamed out. The transmitter was a operated with only one tube and gave around 8 watts output. Later was the power increased to 25 watts.

The programs consist of mostly pop music. The schedule was every 4th Sunday starting at 0900 GMT. The frequency was 7340 kHz, but the station had plans to move up to 11425 kHz in the 26 Mb.
