A rumour told the audience that this station become raided in march 1978.But until that date Viking had had no problems with the Danish GPO.
Viking began in August the 7’th, 1977 with a small staff and very little air time. From 9.00 to 10.30 UTC every Sunday, Oscar Hansson and John S., later Paul Anthony joined the show.
In February 1979 RV announced that a complete new show should be put on air. Phil Hazleton and Dave Andersson joint the crew. This new style become very popular and Radio Viking become one of the more popular FR-stations.
The station did get raided in September 1978.
