It was an old ship-transmitter with an input of 80 watts.<\/p>\n<p>Their first frequency was 3387 kHz, but just a couple of reports was send to them, so they decided to make a trial on mediumwave.<\/p>\n<p>That was something they should not have done, the transmitter broke down. Now they had to search for a new tx.<\/p>\n<p>The next one become a Heatkit DX 60 B with an output of approximately 45 watts and it was crystal driven. So the 29th of September 1974 the first show on the new transmitter was beamed out. First arrived a few reports, and by that they made a real 1\/2 wave dipole antenna.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freehomescandinavia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/052b.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-71\" alt=\"052b\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freehomescandinavia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/052b-300x212.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.freehomescandinavia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/052b-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.freehomescandinavia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/052b.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The next show consist of some jingles and some records, which was beamed out a couple of times the 29:th of September. 50 reports was send to RPI that time.<\/p>\n<p>The DJ&#8217;s was DC Mains, AC Mains, AD Mains, Jacky Landbead, Marsh Halloway, Luke Sharp and Michael Linke.<\/p>\n<p>During a visit to England 1975 a new transmitter was bought. This one had an output of 150 watts at 100% modulation. A giant in the Free Radio world by that time. The last time RPI was noted was the 30 of may 1976.
